Like I said I'm new to the site and banshees...can anyone think about something to do? I did every thing I can think(first post has the most things I tried),good leak down test...I'm totally lost!!

File the taller nub down so that it strikes evenly on both.

 

Other concern, the compression you got off the gauge was 150psi on each? You didn't mention port work, but Is there head work on it? What type of fuel are you using? If the head is cut, you may be suffering a bit of deto.....

Now I ordered new 100 watt stator with timing plate also a UNIVERSAL EMPI CARBURETOR SYNCHRONIZER part # 43-5712-0... I might start a new thread to get some of your info how you guys use them...

Up Date.......New stator and I used the sync tool,It got a little worse....... The reeds look good but I will try new ones also... What can I try now?? I'm about to do something dumb to it now out of frustration..Thanks.

Is the choke tube on? Its the tube that runs from the side of one carb to the side of the other, not the fuel line, the tube basically comes out on the opposite side of where the choke plunger is.

Now I put new reeds in, a little better but still not rite..What else can it be? This is the last time I'm going to ask and I will just give up..What I did so far is the first post+,Good leak down test,new stator with the pulse pickup set at .018,new reeds and carbs synced with tool. thanks.
