  2. I'm taking apart this motor I have no problems with to replace old gaskets and seals etc. I have 2 different pistons in it I think Yamaha (225) and wiseco(2.25 513p9 cd 19910) ,same bore size but different porting.... can I run them again with no problem? Idk why I can't upload any pic's!!!

  4. I will put the oem one back on it..The new one didn't help anyway and the oem did test good,but it was worth a shot.... still lost!!!lol... I might go down the back road and try the new reeds again...thanks.

  6. yes,I cleaned the frame and coil when I put the extra ground wire to the motor.tanks.
  7. Yes. I cleaned up the new stator plate and the 3 spots on the motor, I even put a wire from the frame ground wire on the plug coil to a head stud. thanks.
  8. Now I put new reeds in, a little better but still not rite..What else can it be? This is the last time I'm going to ask and I will just give up..What I did so far is the first post+,Good leak down test,new stator with the pulse pickup set at .018,new reeds and carbs synced with tool. thanks.
  9. yes on both sets of carbs I tried..I ordered new reeds..After this i'm done, I have no clue what to do next!!!
  10. Up Date.......New stator and I used the sync tool,It got a little worse....... The reeds look good but I will try new ones also... What can I try now?? I'm about to do something dumb to it now out of frustration..Thanks.

  12. Now I ordered new 100 watt stator with timing plate also a UNIVERSAL EMPI CARBURETOR SYNCHRONIZER part # 43-5712-0... I might start a new thread to get some of your info how you guys use them...
  13. Good Idea,I will file it down thanks. 150psi each from what I think is Stock pistons-bore,no porting,stock head and 32.1 premium fuel. thanks.
  14. Like I said I'm new to the site and banshees...can anyone think about something to do? I did every thing I can think(first post has the most things I tried),good leak down test...I'm totally lost!!
  15. I used .018 feeler gauge on the side with the line,the other one has a little more of a gap..
  16. I put another set of stock carbs on it with stock and same jetts,same thing..
  17. up date... I did a leak down test 6psi for 10min then I let the air out......Now what can it be thanks.
  18. yes I put new plugs in, cleaned the timing nubs with pick up..I will try to adjust it size of a business card rite? thanks!

  21. Yes I wont ride it I just wanted to test some thing because at neutral I can't tell any thing....
  22. No I didn't do a leak down test yet,I have to make one..or maybe I can make one out of my lt500r kit i made idk.

I did swap the plug wires no difference. the throttle cable seems good to me..It did run good the way it was.I'm going to clean the carbs again for the 4th time I know they can be tricky,same jets in both carbs.........Now for the ping marks don't show at WOT a lil less gas they will,I didn't think that is rite but i'm not sure and that's how it was be for....I just drove it in neutral it revs good and down hill runs good but under a lil load it wont run rite,Almost like its going to lean seize and die. Thanks for the info!
