the prep is just wiping all the dirt off. works great!

Prep includes removing the scratches or they'll show & look ugly with the new paint over it. Make sure you remove any oils & moisture to prevent bubbling. Do a search, there's a thread talking about all this stuff. I used it on the grill frame & it came out good, it went from silver to black. That paint sticks very well & had no probs from the radiator heat.

It works really well. The bike in my sig. pic the black was painted with fusion. If you prime your plastics and wetsand the primer the fusion will look like glass when you are done. Mine looks like the fusion was wet sanded its so smooth.

I did my plastics back in the summer. I didn't take out every single scratch because i got too rammy and just painted it after sanding it a few times. As said above, as long as you take your time, and remove all the scratches, it will look very good. Here are some pics of my progress

Painting quality come out when you take your time and do good prep work. If you try to rush through it or don't prep the surface good it will look like an eleven year old painted your ride............. :yelrotflmao:

Here are the steps I used to do my paint...

First I got this black bed liner off that was on the bike when I got it...

Then i sanded them down, got the scratches out, fixed all the cracks..

Then primed them and wetsanded them...

Then painted the up... Black is fusion, green isnt, but the same steps where used on all plastics

Did you shoot it with clear after the Fusion, or no? I'm wondering if the durability and the gloss of the finish will look better than just the Fusion if this was done. Yours turned out good...............

Well... not sure if it was intended to be used this way but it is pJ1 frame paint. It was the only thing I could get in Kawie glo green... It is tough, and looks good.
