BAMF87 Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Steel silencers, unstamped Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
sheerider11 Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 All cpi are stamped. Older ones are stamped on the inside. Even older ones aren't stamped at all. Quote
Frankthetank Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 After talking to a gal at CPI, she mentioned that the poor mans silencers cant be re-packed if need be. You would either have to slice it open or buy a new one. The other reason that they are cheaper than the other is that the silencers are made of steel and not aluminum. Quote
gomerkfx700 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Yea they. Could be a little welding will need to be done but they could be cut and put back together Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 In 14 years of owning banshees I've repacked one set of silencers. I wouldn't let that deter you from buying them. Don't let 14 years of poor running machines that are down on power and loud as fuck be a ringing endorsement for others. LOL Packing is your friend. It needs to be there for more than just noise.
