tdod101 Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Probably won't winterized this year so I can go out on the ice, but I'm assuming I should change my main jets , maybe 1 or two sizes up ? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Look at the Mikuni pocket tuner shows 1 size for every 20* drop in temps. Better safe than sorry. Might check with others as to possibility of over cooling and cold seizing. Quote
ginger Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 you can cheat it sometimes if you run a air box and no lid, put the lid on and it can make up for it Quote

Prevent it with a thorough warm up procedure and good jetting. Quote
Nieskes Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 Sounds ghetto, But I always took a thin piece of cardboard and covered half my rad or more up every winter. Helped alot! Quote

Pasi S. Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 My advice is - listen your motor. I have been anything between 158 to 175 in winter. Quote
