bbobki
Never had a two stroke before, I built a banshee from the frame up, fast built the motor for me, 66.5 bore, hot rods stock stroke crank, milled and re chambered head, ported jugs with booster ports welded in, v force 3 reeds, Fmf fatty pipes. My question is this thing runs great till the upper rpms then good god this thing runs like a striped ass ape. Is this normal two stroke stuff or "poweband" as I hear
banshee1983
Ur gettin me all pumped now lol. That would be the powerband lol. I myself am building a banshee from frame up and want to keep the stock crank and have it ported. Mind me asking how much it cost u to do the motor? And did f.a.s.t do the entire engine build? trickedcarbine
Pretty typical of banshees with port work. So now Jeff is doing welded auxiliary ports?
n2otoofast4u
Auxiliary ports with FMFs?
locogato11283
Pretty typical of banshees with port work. So now Jeff is doing welded auxiliary ports? I'm not sure it's something he just started doing. Back in 2005 when I met Jeff he was dyno testing a YZ125 intake setup on Banshee cylinders. I know he's done different things for a while.
