Drop them on the floor after you remove all the bolts and they will just fall apart. LOL................... Just kidding dont do that. Just like starwriter said they will split easy with a dead blow just double check you have all the bolts out before you start hitting them.

Make sure you remove that little half moon retainer clip behind the clutch basket...then throw it away. If its all the way apart, a light tap with a rubber mallet should make them easily split.

And if you dont know how many and where the bolts are located refer to diagram...sometimes dirt/clay etc. Can dry over bolts to the point it looks like its part of the case....

I can't tell much from that small pic, but what I can see is that both crank seals are there. Something that is concerning though, is that it looks like 1 of the center crank bearing pins is straight up, instead of in the notch in the front of the cases.

On another note, are the crank pins welded?

Not sure haven't pulled the accual crank out yet it seemed pretty stuck in there , was wondering what's the easiest way to pop it out ? And this website only lets me post 50kb of dataper picture sorry for the smallness

The crank just lifts out.

You can see if it's welded without taking it out. Look at the PTO side crank web. 1/2 of the crank pin is visible. The other half of it is behind the bearing. If there are no visible welds on that pin, you need to send that crank to a builder.
