camatv Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 that is fucking bad ass. i dont care what you say!! as to the original question. banshee's cannot make tq bullshit! REAL tq porting, tq domes ( not 17cc shelf dome phh) good tune, they will make 50-55ft lbs of tq thats more than that retarded yfz. PLUS they will be more reliable, and still have lots of top end. cc increases help also. most issues I have personally seen were from imporper porting. to me tq or trail porting takes LONGER to do than a "drag" port. the work in the transfer area takes for ever fmf pipes will make as much if not more tq than retarded pt mids will. ( with porting) BUT in my opinion the best tq pipe is the t-6 Quote

Itll take LOTS of TQ to move his big 'ol butt around like that. Quote

I'm just assuming you are referring to the blaster piston angle dome with a wider squish band. Not sure if that's the same idea you are hinting or not Quote
Brap_Life Posted September 30, 2013 Report Posted September 30, 2013 run a bead of weld on the top of the exhaust port, will lose some rev and top end hp though. Quote
AKheathen Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 what i want to do is take a 7-10mill serval and chop the bottom to 4mill, then grunt port.... yeyah Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 what i want to do is take a 7-10mill serval and chop the bottom to 4mill, then grunt port.... yeyahI was gonna have a builder do that with a 7mm DM cylinder. Sort of like a super duper bore serval.... But after talking with the builders, it seems that with the right porting/domes and parts combo that the new CP cylinders are really capable of impressive bottom end if you just pony up the dollars to do it right once. I've got some re assuring info that machining a Gimp cylinder is far more work and cost then just doing a proper set up larger stroke motor. Quote
