I did indeed have coolant in that pipe. just want to make sure there's none sitting anywhere else from the leak. I'm a 2 stroke newbie and haven't opened a case yet. Surfrjag Posted September 23, 2013 Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 its more likely that it went into the pipe than to the cases. unless your pipe was filled up and your radiator was completely empty. i wouldnt worry about it. maybe just kick it over a couple times with the plug removed and then run it. I have the head off anyways to inspect and replace seals, so I was able to get rid of what fluid that was sitting on the piston and did empty out the pipe. That wound up on the piston from pulling the head.....it just what happens when you want to check the pistons. There really isn't a way to get to the crank case without cracking it open. Just get it started up after you get it together and it should clean it up for you. At least that's what I would do if I didn't suspect anything major.
