Vinny_Vincenzo408 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Report Posted June 23, 2013 Out of the blue but what I was working on it had nothing to do with the motor but it sat for like 4-5 months Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 I was working on it had nothing to do with the motor Is it a secret? Try fresh gas and plugs. Maybe clean the bowls and the pilot jets 1 Quote
Vinny_Vincenzo408 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Report Posted June 23, 2013 No just had to replace the axle bearings and chain. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the carbs right now Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Good start, It's just that we've had guys on here that "didn't touch nothing" and 3or 4 pages later find that they had the carb tops off and switched slides... Quote

Vinny_Vincenzo408 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Report Posted June 23, 2013 Yeah so do you think those could be the problems? Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Yeah so do you think those could be the problems? Just an example of trying to diagnose over the internet. Unless you switched them... Quote
375hp banshees Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Yeah so do you think those could be the problems? not if you only did chain work before it started, just do 1 at a time & u can't mix any thing up (unless it's to late) Quote
Vinny_Vincenzo408 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Report Posted June 23, 2013 I'm talking about rebuilding the carbs. I don't think a chain has anything to deal with these problems ahah not if you only did chain work before it started, just do 1 at a time & u can't mix any thing up (unless it's to late) Quote
375hp banshees Posted June 24, 2013 Report Posted June 24, 2013 I'm talking about rebuilding the carbs. me too Quote
Vinny_Vincenzo408 Posted June 24, 2013 Author Report Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) me tooThan why you talking about the chain? Edited June 24, 2013 by Vinny_Vincenzo408 Quote
joey83 Posted June 24, 2013 Report Posted June 24, 2013 Dont clean the carbs without dumping all the old fuel out of ghe tank. Rebuild them one at a time or be sure to get the right carb tops back on the correct side carb. Be sure the choke tube goes back on between the carbs. Check the intake boots for cracks, especially if it has a boost bottle on it. clarification... good luck! Quote
