A_T_Ver Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I have an 02 banshee with T5's, FAST play/dune port, 33mm pwk carbs with FAST intake, timing plate, and stock reeds. Also have an 05 with T6's, 35mm pwk carbs, and the athena 392, which doesn't impress me, that's how i bought it though. With a set of vforce 4's out in the garage. Keeping the 02 and was wondering if i should put the 35's, T6's, and VF4's on there. Will eventually serval cub it and didn't know if the 35's would be needing for that. But searching around i see the T5's will work better for ported and higher modified bikes. I'm just getting into this banshee thing. And now i'm addicted. Just wondering what parts to use with what i have for now, until i upgrade. Thanks! Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 t6's and 35pwks dont really mix. t6 is a low end pipe and 35's are carbs for more of a dune/drag setup. Quote
A_T_Ver Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 I'll probably leave the T5's on. But should i use the 35mm carbs for when i upgrade the motor? Or keep the 33's on and upgrade when the time comes? Quote
BUILDER Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I would put the 35's on the one you are going to keep. I doubt you will see any gains at all from the carbs but if you build it bigger down the road you will have the right carbs to use. I would also keep the T5 pipes I think they run better than the T6 pipes myself. I have ridden both and like the 5's better Quote
trickedcarbine Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Put the 35's on the 02 with the VF4's. Quote
A_T_Ver Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Sounds good to me! I'll be putting the 35's and VF4's on the 02 then. Thanks for the input guys! Quote
A_T_Ver Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Does anyone have any guidelines on jetting with the VF4's and 35's? It runs, but doesn't idle very good. Quote
