bansheefreak05 Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 New 28 pwk carbs with pod filters, 700ft, pc pipes, vforce 3, billet intake, otherwise stock motor I started with 45 pilots and 150 mains 2nd clip from the top air screw 1.5 turns out. The problem is that off the start I need to give it a ton of gas or it will stall then In first and second it bogs after that it's great on top and the plugs look good. Is my pilot too big? To small? Need some advice thanks!! Quote

Why bother with such a jargon ass post? To the OP. To tell if you are rich or lean on that pilot, use the air screw. If it runs better screwed in all the way, you need a bigger pilot. If it runs better by opening up the air screw you need a smaller pilot. Is it smoking excessively upon start up and idle? Quote
