Anyone seen or had a gas motor with +7 timing

Have a cub motor that was set up to run pump gas and everything, 19cc domes and just found out my timing is +7. Anyone had any experience with this??

Mine was at +8. Anything short of that would result in a 6-10hp decrease. The curve was also affected drastically below +8. Not saying its right but I do believe it has everything to do with your dome size and not dome cc.

I run +7 on my ported cub. I have 19cc domes. But use 110 or c12. I dune it more then I drag and have not had any problems.

Pretty sure he just need to know what the most timing guys are running with pump fuel. It's pretty easy to throw timing at motors on race fuel.

Some say +5, some say +7 and other are just way off the charts. I personally have a dyno sheet that showed +8 as my sweet spot. Throwing timing on any motor should be done with extreme caution. It's no different than jetting. Each bike knows what it wants and timing is treated no different. I'm no expert but first hand experience is what I am using as my source.
