RACxEMxWILLIE Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 Its an 03. This mothereffer is driving me crazy. I have no spark. I dont think its a CDI issue. Im leaning more toward a ground or my coil is just shot. I have the thing wired up like a motorcycle (no key). Quote

m671054 Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 Be sure the ground to the cdi is good. mine would spark once in a while with no ground hooked up to the cdi. fixed the ground fired right up Quote

I have a strong suspicion that its somewhere in the grounds. Does the cdi ground itself to the frame or is there a wire coming out that grounds its, bc I have the wire thats coming out grounded to the voltage regulator. Quote
m671054 Posted April 30, 2013 Report Posted April 30, 2013 Black wire to frame near the regulator is chassis ground. Solid black at cdi,coil, stator are grounds should have good continuity. Quote
