  1. I meant the nut and lock washer that hold on the sprocket. I had a mis-type and was thinking of something else. Sorry guys.
  2. Does anyone know where I can get an extra set of the 3 bolts that are in the sprocket itself and the main nut and lock washer?
  3. Well after battling a spark for 4 months, we got spark. A $7 can of paint caused this problem. My dumbass painted the motor mounts, thus killing my spark. I ran a 12 gauge ground strap, and viola, spark. Thanks for all your help guys.
  4. Look at the red wire. I believe the flywheel was rubbing it. I think im gonna need a new one or does anyone have a remedy for this? Im open to suggestions
  5. I got the money. I just need to get paid first. I was just seeing who had one.
  6. Give me about a week or so and Ill buy it from you. PM me the paypal address. Oh, are the caps and everything good on it?
  7. I replaced pretty much everything having to do with electrical and got it going but it was running shitty. And then out of nowhere, it quit sparking. I've used two different harnesses and CDI's, got good readings from pickup coil and stator. Now Im leaning towards the Coil. Its the only thing I havent checked or changed. Anybody got one for cheap?
  8. Ok, so i got the damn thing sparking good after month of chasing it. Anywho, I go to ride it around my yard and the left cylinder dies while the right keeps sparking. Soon after, the damn thing dies and I can't get any spark out of it even though 5 minutes previous, it had a good healthy spark. Any suggestions?
  9. Im having to replace all of the shit minus the coil and stator. will a 01 cdi and harness work with an 03 coil and stator?
  10. Anyone got a good used one?
  11. Yeah I have it wired like a motorcycle. No tether, on the handlebar kill switch. It may be a turd.
  12. Yeah I dont have one readily available. I will check the cdi ground. I have a strong suspicion that its somewhere in the grounds. Does the cdi ground itself to the frame or is there a wire coming out that grounds its, bc I have the wire thats coming out grounded to the voltage regulator.
  13. Well we got spark out of it once. And then it stopped.
  14. Its an 03. This mothereffer is driving me crazy. I have no spark. I dont think its a CDI issue. Im leaning more toward a ground or my coil is just shot. I have the thing wired up like a motorcycle (no key).
  15. Ive completely given up on mine!
  16. yeah i used a business card to set the gap. im actually about to hotwire the orange straight to the coil and splice the black to the coil and to the frame
  17. Ok guys, here is what Ive done so far: Resistance from stator to CDI: 18.1 ohms. Not sure if this is correct: .5 Ohms to Coil? (How do you check the coil?) I checked my tether switch, kill switch, the ground by the coil, and the ground at the voltage regulator. Coil itself is grounded to bare metal on the frame and so is the CDI. AM I missing a ground somewhere else? I put a new timing plate on it and put the stator on exactly as it came off the stock one. I did find that the rubber around the orange wire from the CDI to the Coil has rubbed off (little spot). Could that be the problem. I am a complete retard when it comes to electrical stuff. Oh yeah, and ive quadruple checked the grounds that I know of. If Im missing one, fill me in!
  18. I might get back to you tomorrow with my test results. I dont know how it could go bad by changing the timing plate.
  19. Yeah haha the same one from the other post? I realized I put it in the for sale section instead of the wanted section. Im testing it tomorrow, how much?
  20. Mine turned into a turd, I think.
  21. Pretty sure mine just turned into a turd.
  22. Took apart the banshee for a rebuild, port job, and a paint job. Got her all put back together and no spark. We tested all of the connections in the wiring harness and I double checked that were clean and hooked up in the right spots. Also, the lights dont flicker when you try to kick her over. Could my stator be bad. I put a new timing plate on it while the engine was out of the frame so the stator was the thing that could be bad I guess. IF you guys have any ideas, let me know. IM LOST!
  23. Yeah but where do i route the the hose that runs to the tank?
  24. Anyone got any tips on how to do this and whats the best method to do so?
