Why does it take starting fluid if I haven't touch it in a 2 month

Seems like if I don't use it for 2 months it need alittle spray to get it going.

What pilots? sounds just a little lean. Or it may just be the shitty gas with all the ethanol in it. It seems to not keep very long.

I've always ran 27.5 pilots. If all the way in on the air screw ( half turn out) doesn't help it. I'd try bigger pilots

X2 on the Ethanol, Don't buy gas from a grocery store or convenience store, Ask for pure gasoline. Goggle the negative effects of Ethanol, you will be amazed.  I run 25 pilots with T5's and K&N. with 3 kick starts after sitting for over 4 months. I plan to try 27.5 though.

You can't buy pure assoline here. Juzt the 10%.

 

I also agree with 27.5's. I had similar mods and ran 27.5's and 320's, but I always liked my shit to run rich.

One dune trip, my 3 four strokes popped lean on the top end, my 2 strokes had noticeable increase in EGT and completely burned out packing,and my fuel station on my toy hauler pumped 5 gal then the very next day pumped 10 drops and seized up, pulled the pump head apart to find a thick amber goo. On retrospect, that was all Casey's Conveniece store premium and I'm not to sure they stick to the 10% max. but really, Goggle it, the 2 stroke boat mechanics blame it for everything.

Mine does that. I think it's the choke rubbers bc when I pull the choke while its running and warm, it doesnt hardly effect it.

Of coarse it will run leaner on a 10% mix than pure gasoline. If you jet it for the 10% mix, you have nothing to worry about.

understood, but it will still evaporate in the carbs and clog shit faster.

Well I guess I can drain the carbs next time to prove the theory. I was planing on switching to alba needles and bigger pilots 300 mains.

Just drain the bowls and let a little fresh gas run out too. Close it up and kick it, that usually works for me in the spring.
