LawDog Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 take it apart and put case sealer on key. its a common issue. Quote
Tech AS Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 Im not sure that using a compressor to pressurize your motor is a good idea since its real easy to blow out your seals. But as for the question, I've never had that issue personally but I've heard to remedy that you gotta take the key out and put in a dab of the sealant you used to seal the cases in there then replace the key. Let it cure then retest. Quote
dave5.0 Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 I always seal up all that stuff on that side. Between the gears and the key way. Doesn't take much. Quote
