pump fuel = readily available and motor common, longer lasting rides.....will not support as much compression/timing.    With methanol, your going to get way worse time out riding as bike will drink close to twice as much methanol, however methanol will support higher compression/timing safely, and will also run cooler....

But for a duner you should prob go 110 or something im sure someone with more insight will chime in.

Methanol is cheaper per gallon. Catch 22 though, u will use twice as much methanol as 110 octane and end up spending more per trip. 110 at the pump averages 8.00 a gallon at today's prices.

 

2 55 gallon drums of methanol versus 1 55 gallon drum of 110..... You choose....

Alky= less ride time but you gain a little more hp and tq. There is nothing to purging I only purge when it's going to set for a long time in between rides.

I was purging 4 fuckin bikes just so they could sit for a week until we ran them again. I know now that they can sit a lil longer without having to purge. If it gets easier to get this season I will go back to alky. And this season I'll have someone to do it for me so I won't have to bitch about it:D

What brand of alky do you guys run VP or sunco? Also will lubed methanol fuel work for a drag banshee?

You want M1 VP the lubed stuff is more for 4 pokes ive heard you can run it but very hard to tune correctly, stick with the M1
