Need to rebuild my stock top end. FullBore Online charges $275 to bore and a pistone kit including everying you need with WSM Pistons. Has anyone ever used this company before? You basically ship it to them, they do the work and ship it back. I just want to know if its legit? Thank you

No, Just ship them the jugs. The machine shop said its $100 for the bore. and piston set is about $220 from Rocky Mountain. Then still gotta buy the gasket set for about $30. So its cheaper to do Full Bore. But will save about a 2 wk turnaround time if you do it yourself.

Thanks for your help!

Just remeber you get what you pay for!!! Call a site sponsor pay a little more then when you are tyring to put it together or trying to tune it you will be able to call and actually talk to someone who can help you get it done right.

Just remeber that the person that is going to bore your cylinders is going to want to measure the pistons and bore off of them if they arre doing it right. That being said dont just order pistons and go tell some machine shop to bore your motor to 64.50 take them the actual pistons to bore it.

Solid advice right there. When my cylinders came back from Lakes Motorsports, pistons and jugs were marked A & B, so there must have been enough difference to measure.

Good luck. You're gonna need it. So you order pistons 1 size bigger than the current bore. What if the bores don't clean up at that size? Then you end up buying ANOTHER set of pistons. Even if the "local" machine shop does get the bore right, do you trust them to chamfer the ports correctly? As mentioned above, using a site sponser is well worth the time and money. They will usually stock the pistons you need and will stand behind their work and give you advice if you need it on base gasket thickness, squish, dome size, etc.
