How to check strong spark and if choke is not working.

I wonder if you can test the spark plug wires if they are working 100% and also if my choke is working because mine does not stay in place, i have to hold it out aswell as being a bitch to start.

Needing to hold it out has nothing to do with it working it just means it is getting worn where teh spring rides and will not hold it out any longer. That is a real common problem to have with stock carbs.

To do it right you have got to give it a really firm kick when you do it otherwise it will not work.

ya makes it easier to kick over

It only works if your thumb and index finger are wet. Spit on them a lil bit and hold the wire with those. Make sure u test both sides.

Hmmm, i always had a buddy check it on his tounge while I kicked it. Kind of like checking a 9 volt battery.....
