Hey all. I finally received my set of Fox Floats which I had set up for my weight/riding style to suit Alba A-arms. They are 17 inch eye-to-eye. My problem is Alba arms won't be available for another month at least. So I was thinking of getting a set of Laegers. Will these shocks fit or would I be better off waiting it out? I've already waited about 3 months so far. How do these they compare in quality?

Laeger lt. And roll design long travel both utilize same length shock 17" eye to eye is there spec. The Alba arms Truely did not impress me shit urathane bushings cheap design and didn't look to be S strong as others. Just my opion . Fireball racing will also make you an ARM for that shock cheaper then both the other companies stated. I'm currently running set of lt yfz shocks on lt fireball arms they are tough as shit.

Ok, so I ended up ordering a set of +2 +1 Laegers long travels. They cost a bit more than the Alba's but I like the idea of them running stock size bushes. I'm going to order a set of TM Designworks No-Stik bushing and moly sleeves. Thanks for your advice.

What did you end up paying for the Laegers ?

I just got a set of albas for my 660 raptor and one side was welded a tad off center with the standard shock mount and I had to use a hammer to beat on my brand new a arms to make it fit, then I had to drill out the bolt hole for the standard shock mount because it was off kilter and my bolt would not fit through it. alba said they would replace the arm but I had to wait another couple weeks because they did not have parts in stock and plus the shipping time, I was wanting a set of a arms for my banshee but I do not think I would get the albas for my shee.

It sure was nice hammering on a new set of a arms..

I paid $754.95 plus shipping from ATV Galaxy on eBay. They're quite good to deal with. The arms themselves appear to be decent quality and are greaseable but do not come with new bushings. However they take stock size bushings so you can either use your old ones or there is a selection of aftermarket bushings available. I opted for a set if pivot works needle roller bearing kits instead of bushings for smoother suspension action.

The exact arms I have except mine came with the offset inserts for the upper ball joint so you can increase/decrease castor. I've ordered the non-offset inserts like on Tylers to get that "in between" setting. I've only got Float-R's to run on mine though. But I won't have those clearance issues on the Evols.

They are 17". I originally ordered them to suit the Alba LT's but I got tired of waiting for them to get them back in stock. So I went with the Laegers and I'm happy with the quality of them.

I do not understand what makes these a arms worh $300 more then the alba arms, they look the same, have the same type of ball joints, the only difference I see is these have the greese zerks.

I have a set of alba that I purchased 3 weeks ago for my raptor.

I wanted to get a set of these for my banshee but after seeing the close up picture you provided I think I will just get a set of alba for my banshee.

I will have to take a picture and post it .

Finally got her back on 4 wheels. I'm really happy with the Laegers quality and fitment. No troubles at all. And the Fox Float-R's have it setting spot on right out of the box with the 50 PSI charge they came with.
