With my mods, do I need race gas?

I just bought a trinity stage IV pro head, and the place had either 19cc domes and 21cc dome. I'm right At sea level and running 94 octane, should I go back and buy the 21cc domes?

yer welcome Klotz........in my opnion race fuel will make a bike that doesnt need it run better and a bike that does run great....for the sake of arguement we should all be running the good stuff

i would also run the 21's, if your set on running pump at sea level 20's would be the absolute smallest dome id run, or go for the 19's, they will feel better than the 21's but then id go for 100% race fuel, better safe than sorry, your bike will run better, top end will last longer, i wouldnt go more than 170 psi with out welding my crank though, that couple of psi isnt worth a twisted crank

Actually what I learned in that whole RKT scandall a long time ago is that you don't raise your compression to run race gas but you actually run race gas to run higher compression. All race gas does is help prevent detonation. There was a good link that somebody posted I'll try to get it.

also lefty is the swill we get in cali at the pump even considered fuel, that could be what im feeling we also have MTBE, the tree huggers answer to clean air.....
