Frame Paint

I have just removed my swing arm and a-arms and was wondering what is the best spray paint for durability and quality. I know powdercoating is the best way to go but I dont have that kind of money for it. I want to do a white frame.

Don't bother. It'll look good up until the first ride. Once you ride behind some one it will chip all over and look like shit

What do you think it would cost regularly for a entire frame powdercoating including swingarm and a-arms, I would like it white

You can't powder coat factory a arms. For frame and swing arm depends on where you go. I know a place that does certain colors for cheap. Black white brown and green. He does hand rails so he can just hang a frame and blast it, now say I want a cherry red, he has to stop everything and paint just that.

I just got my frame and all other pieces besides swing arm and aarm powder coated. 325! That was to blast everything also!

My buddy just did a frame by itself for 125

I have a guy that will do the swing arm and stuff for like 120 but he doens have a big enough oven for the frame

I do agree that if you go about it the proper way, paint will hold up pretty well!! But no way in hell will paint EVER be as durable as a good powder-coat job!!

Vs painted

Used a good high quality epoxy paint and it has very very minor chips in Aarms

if you prep everything good, paint will hold up decent. i painted my last frame and it came out awesome. if you spring for a pricey self-etching primer, i used mar-hyde (spelling??), it will help a lot too. then i just used a single stage dupont nason and it came out really nice. i'm not a painter but it still came out respectable i think.
