of course, powder coat will always be much more durable.. just thought i would clarify my stance on durability.

Spray paint will flake and not last... But i once painted a frame using a professional automotive spray gun with an air compressor with about 4 to 5 coats and that held up not to bad. Use an actual gun vs rattle can if you can and it should hold up good if sanded and proper steps were taken.
