250rbanshee Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 Is there a way to make the rear brakes better on these things? I know stainless line but is there a better master cylinder or caliper that'll work without modification? Just looking for more stopping power from the rear. Already running yfz calipers on the front and they work great. Thanks. Quote
Finch Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 i dont run fronts but my back works pretty good with new pads and when i bleed them right the first time Quote
Dicklez Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 New pads. But if you wanna spend some money, I used a honda 450r carrier and brake stay and used the 450 caliper. Way better then the stock. And the yfz front calipers are shit. Id rather run stock fronts. Fuckin brackets always bend. I run 300ex duel piston fronts. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 Good to know picklez..... My new rear caliper is off a Ducati Monster. Dual opposing piston brembo caliper! Fucking sweet Quote

250rbanshee Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Posted November 9, 2012 Oh it works ok. It'll lock the tires up but just takes more effort than what I'm used to with the 250r I had. I really gotta stand on it. Yfz front calipers are shit? Don't know about that...mine stop waaaaaayyyyy better than the banshee calipers. I'm also running stainless lines and a 450r master cylinder. Just needing a little better rear stopping power for the tight trails and woods I ride in. Quote
