Why was Banshee production in north america stopped?

Okay so i know banshees aare still made in argentina and australia but why where they completly stoped in north american it doesnt make any sense to me cause they were like one of the best sellling quads like ever. If anybody knows please post a response. also i dont think it was because of environmentalists cause 2 stroke bikes are still around

2 stroke bikes are sold as "race only" meaning that they're not meant to be ridden anywhere but a closed course. That's the only way that the epa hasn't killed them too.
