guns4children Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 My guess would be the head gasket. Its very easy to take the head off. I would say buy a new head gasket change it out torque the head to spec and have another go. Quote
topwaterbait Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 Thanks for the quick response. I just rebuilt it and had a fresh head gasket on it. Thats why I was wondering if it could come from somewhere else. I have the head off now going to see if it is warped. Quote

topwaterbait Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 when you rebuilt it... did you use sealant to seal the rubber plugs at the bottom of the cylinders? my first time rebuilding mine... I didnt use sealant on them and I had coolent in my cases. No but I dont have any coolant in the case just in the cylinders. Quote

Is that all I need to do to get the coolant out of the crank side? Do you guys think oem gaskets are better than aftermarket? Quote
