If I run 50/50 My bike is not as peppy-ran straight 110oct at dunes once and couldn't even drag bike was boggin that bad..-my bike likes 93 oct and I add a two gallons to a 6 gallon jug when mixing just to be safe. 19cc domes/single carb with all bolt ons at sea level-500Ft.

Octane slows down the burn, so if you don't have enough compression or advanced timing to make up the difference, you will lose performance. Modern cars can switch between octane ratings because they have knock sensors and the computer is trying to advance the timing all the time.

Your saying it's a waist to run higher octane fuel and any bike that does not have to run it ? Thought the higher octane fuel burned cooler keeping motor cooler and would help with throttle response burned cleaner not leaving as much un burnt fuel ?

A colder burn will actually reduce power. The more heat created in the explosion the more power it will make. Methanol actually burns much much hotter than gas, but has a lower heat latency, so it is much cooler going into the engine, but once it is ignited and burns the flame front is much hotter than gas producing more power.

It will gain you nothing at all to run any race-gas mix unless you need it. (i.e. higher compression, higher timing, etc) It is basically the same stuff as pump gas with a higher octane rating. There's no hidden power in the fuel, it just resists detonation better. The engine setup that requires you to run the race gas is where the power difference is coming from, not the fuel.
