so you just had it redone and your wondering if that scratch mark is something to bitch to the guy who did it about? yes. I wouldn't be happy with that, but thats just me..

but you could probably run them. its more less just up to you

wow.... that is why you always bore after porting... AND only use reputable builders.... or skeeter.

Does your fingernail fit in the scratch

not massive deep or anything, but still there on fresh cyls.

 

 

Was it done before or after the hone? If after, I'd run another pass with the hone and throw er together.

after, I'd say should have been bored next size up, this is a trail bike motor that WAS going together and staying together.

exactly, they def bit marks not some random scratch

 

I would have it fixed....tell those asshats you want a refund or a free fix !

yer will def have a talk to him, I was expecting more of a job than this eh.

being below the port opening, it shouldn't lose any compression eh? by the time the rings are over that the ports will be uncovered anyway :confused:
