ticktock Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 A TUSK CLUTCH IS KEVLAR. BUY A NONKEVLAR CLUTCH. Kevlar breaks down and muddies up the oil. I don't like them. Adam Quote

TIM LUTZ Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 This is the kit I'm installing tonight for a long next weekend in WV. I have been told that this is an excellent holding clutch We shall see. http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-BANSHEE-DUNE-TRAIL-RIDING-HEAVY-DUTY-CLUTCH-KIT-/290674893767?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ad92e3c7 Quote

ENZAH1 Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Posted April 12, 2012 What's a good gear oil to use in the tranny? is yamalube 10w-40 good enough? Quote
Infamous039 Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Get yourself some Bel-Ray Gear Saver 80 or 85W oil. Dont cheap out on your fluids, remember that you have an expensive machine that requires good lubricants. Also The TUSK Clutch Kits are good but I have noticed they tend to fade and slip when they heat up requiring you to let them cool down after beating on the bike hard. I recommed getting a Driveline Clutch Kit from my own experience they dont fade or slip and they take tons and tons of abuse with no issues.
