Round house carriers are much better than the stock carrier.

Roundhouse carrier http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-YFZ350-BEARING-CARRIER-35mm-/250959385906?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6e585532&vxp=mtr

Stock Carrier http://www.ebay.com/itm/SRP-Dual-Row-Bearing-Carrier-YFZ350-Banshee-All-Years-Stock-Swing-Arm-/150743225285?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2318ff13c5&vxp=mtr

Not sure what you are asking as far as the diferences. BTW, Stellar uses roundhouse carriers on his swingarms.

if you can not tell the difference, you most likely should not be building a swingarm, just saying.

As much as I hate to agree with Zillafreak, I agree. If you don't know the difference between the two you have NO business building them.

"Roundhouse" is just the carrier style not a company like Stellar who can make you roundhouse swingarms....

As for differences, the roundhouse style bearing carriers tolerates more axial and radial load and can take more abuse....

Axial and radial load is just a fancy way of saying side to side, and up and down loading.

Um, actually a ball bearing isn't at all designed to take an axial load at all. An angular contact bearing is designed to take a load from both directions and a thrust bearing is designed to take an axial load. The bearing housing has nothing to do with the load the bearing can sustain. Just sayin.......

The strongest bearing for this application is opposed tapered roller bearing,ie Timkens.

Biggest difference is how it adjusts. Round house uses ecentric (two different center lines) And you can figure stock. I do believe Stellar does sell just the pre cut tube for carrier.

And Zilla, think about what you said as opposed to your "project" :jesterlaugh:
