dirtydownunder Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 they are ok, a bit of money wasted tho. just rock the stock cdi with a billet timing plate. Quote
Nightmare Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 ive been told to stick with stock, i got one buddy that likes it and one that hates it. Quote
Broke_Banshee Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 we use them with a custom tune on our drag bikes,i like them Quote
j stang Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 Check out zeeltroincs also, i really like mine you can add alot to it tach, shift light, you can switch from two programs with the flip of a switch, and on mine i can add an airshifter, economy cycle is where i bought mine Quote
camatv Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 i like mine a lot. you want more initial advance with less on the top rpm's hard to do with just a plate Quote
dirtydownunder Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 i say its a waste, coz no one buys the link and never loads customs maps. if you want to set a custom map, then yeh youll like. but people usually dont. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 I noticed a difference in ET and seat of the pants feel without programming my dyna FS. Removed stock CDI, plugged in Dyna FS, ran curve 3, and saw a very pleasant gain in performance. Been running one for about 5 years. Just make sure you decrease your timing plate by roughly 3-4 degrees when you use the dyna. Its factory curves are about 4 degrees over the stock CDI. Also use a resistor plug Quote
Strm Trpr Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 What happens if I run B8ES plugs instead? Any issues? Quote
bigboybanshee Posted March 10, 2012 Report Posted March 10, 2012 I can't tell you exactly what happens when you run non-resistor plugs, I just know there is a potential for interference. I have always been told to run resistor plugs, so I have... Quote

Also use a resistor plug wow now i know a good part of my detonation issue, was never informed about decreasing on the timing plate, makes more sense. Does the dyna go over 4 degrees during the curves / stock curve, or is 4 degrees its max ? Quote
