Glenyboy Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Vertical reservoir ones for clearance, I've read the r1 shock is slightly stiffer. It's hard to do a search on them on here as it only has 2 characters. Quote
daweaseltoo Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 which one is easiest to fit on the banshee and is it virtivcle resivore or horizontial resivore? I just installed a R6 shock with a red spring, vertical reservoir. Lowered it 8 inches with a 8 over swinger. Had to make some bushings for the bottom bolt/link. Quote

sstaton1983 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 i used a r1 with horizontal ressi.on a +6.it lowered it about 3 inches.i had to modify the lower bushings and had to move my rear master cylinder a little to get the ressi to clear. Quote
mauro78 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) I used a R1 2003, vertical reservoir. Must drill lower lower hub to in my banshee. But I feel it too smooth, and come back to stock shock. Edited February 8, 2012 by mauro78 Quote

sleeper06 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 I have an ohlins r6 shock on my dune bike/trail bike ,fit pretty nice but it does drop the back some Quote
guns4children Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 i got the vertical r1 shock... and it offers VERY LITTLE travel... any type of rough section you go through you may as well just run a steel bar cause it doesnt offer much other then lowering the bike Quote
