hahaha, i was just kidding...

 

Ok im all set, just picked up a set of new B8ES plugs... now im gona wait for the summer storm thats brewing to pass.

 

I will feed back with pics of the plug chop, any tips when cutting it?

Hacksaw and a vice..... Cut it around the base at the begining if the threads....

Hi guys,

Ok I did as you said, I warmed up the bike and did a run from idle to 6th gear, not sure if I maxed out 5th and 6th. Thing is I took the plugs out and this is what they look like. Before I chop them did I do miss something as they seem like they have hardly changed?

Thats because you want to look at the BASE of the porcelain! That is why you need to cut the threaded section off..... What you are looking for is a milk choclate colored "burn ring" that is about 2mm tall from the base...... If its darker then your too rich..... If its grey or white our too lean.
