Rotten-UK Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 need ya help guys... my mate just had his egine rebuilt coz it was rusty n running like shit, put it back in the bike and it was still running lumpy so we changed coil, ecu & carbs. it was still running lumpy and wouldnt rev up, after trying to start it again it kicked back and split the case... anyone know what could be causing this? "I changed one of the wires around instead of six comeing out of me stator I've got seven mate a plain White one" "I've got seven wires instead of six a plain White one and wen it was runing shit so I unplugged one of the wires and plugged the White one in it was runing a lot better but it was spitting flames out the exhaust so I put it bk to normal then I plugged the White one bk in kicked it an it kicked bk and dun that." any ideas anyone? Guessing it was something to do with the stator coz it happened after he swapped the wire over. The white wire (the one that was plugged in when it happend) was putting out a higher vaultage than the other one, apparently the said stator has a high and low output???? i have no idea Quote
