Meh... ordered the pilot jets but i dont think its that coz it still feels rich on pull off. maybe i didnt explain very well, its more pinging/lot of buzzing about up front in the pipes when i come off the throttle or sat in traffic in 5th-6th gear doing 30-40mph. My mate says its just the way a 2 stroke sounds and im not used to it not having riden for a while, Im sure it never sounded like that before...

Its an rd 350 lc, dunno if thats a standard shee motor or not lol. Guessing it was something to do with the stator coz it happened after he swapped the wire over. The white wire (the one that was plugged in when it happend) was putting out a higher vaultage than the other one, apparently the said stator has a high and low output???? i have no idea

I took everything apart and cleaned it when i changed the jets, put new plugs in too. I never really notice much difference by messing with the screw, its 2 turns out at the mo... Its running ok, feels like the jettings on, powers sweet right the way through, it just doesnt sound clean/smooth...

Im trying to get my jets right for the colder weather having not riden since summer... stock motor, k&n 6" pods & outer wears, pt mids, sea lvl - 300ft, average temps out are like 2-8C... for summer i had 27.5 pilot, 290 mains, needle clip in the middle & was a lil rich on the pilot. Now i have changed just the mains to 310's, revs up nice, crisp and clean as, like "Vrrin Vrrin" but coming of the revs it will splutter/ pop off a bit when the revs drop, if you get what i mean its not clean, it just doesnt sound too good to me. Have i gone to big on the mains and its over fueling and still burning fuel when i come off the throttle? thats kinda what it sounds like to me but ima noob, any idea's? Thanks Rotten.

Nope no crack there befor, it has/had about 10 bar compression, he hasnt messed with the timing at all i dont think just these wires on the stator. havent checked mine but my mates other two shee's only have 6 wires coming off the stator, this one has 7???.it not sure what motor it is to be honest, think its a normal shee motor???

"I changed one of the wires around instead of six comeing out of me stator I've got seven mate a plain White one" "I've got seven wires instead of six a plain White one and wen it was runing shit so I unplugged one of the wires and plugged the White one in it was runing a lot better but it was spitting flames out the exhaust so I put it bk to normal then I plugged the White one bk in kicked it an it kicked bk and dun that." any ideas anyone?

need ya help guys... my mate just had his egine rebuilt coz it was rusty n running like shit, put it back in the bike and it was still running lumpy so we changed coil, ecu & carbs. it was still running lumpy and wouldnt rev up, after trying to start it again it kicked back and split the case... anyone know what could be causing this?

Tried new plugs? You cant read dirty plugs anyways, If there black as already you wont see if its lean coz the plugs are already stained & wont change color. Getcha self some new plugs and a bunch of jet sizes rather then drilling em out, there only a couple of $ each. A fouled plug will make it back fire & run like shit, always try a plug change 1st its way easier then messing with the jets. Iv only had my shee acouple of months now but iv freaked out acouple times started messing with everything & the problems been down to fouled plugs

Ah ok cool, just alotta people here saying im in the wrong for riding on the roads and im giving atv riders a bad name though i cant see how. maybe i misread there comments too... Nah i wasnt driving fast the main road it a 60mph limit the way its running atm thats about as fast as it goes, she just thinks iv got it in for her coz she moaned about the smoke. I moved to the garage and since iv put the slides the right way round it doesnt smoke and stink up the street and its 50% quieter so i really dont see why shes moaning tbh

If thats aimed at me though im not sure it is coz you seem smart enough to be able to read... im 100% legal to ride on any road in the uk... i dont see whats so hard to grasp about that concept? And im not riding on the road because theres nowhere to ride off road i brought it as an on road bike to ride on road because we can legaly here. Well its not just a warning really my plate is now marked and ill be pulled every time i see police & many more complaints warented or not and they'll impound my bike . I couldnt care less about them pulling me and looking over the bike coz like iv said i dont know how many times i have just as much right to drive it just the same as my car but i feel its been given to me unfairly. Basicly if they dont remove the marker i'll be pushing for unfair harassment. Lets look at it like this... your on the dunes allowed to ride, riding sensibly and police come and tell you someone has complained warn you and mark your bike so that the next busy body to moan will have ur bike taken away you'd be pissed right? Then you come on a forum to see where you stand and people are saying your crying, whining, lol uneducated and to quit bitching if they take your bike/ close your dunes its your own fault you should find dunes/ride else where.... :jesterlaugh:

I took it to an mot station today to get it looked over to see if it is actually louder then what its ment to be and the guy said he's had louder mopeds in his shop & that there isnt actually any noise restrictions set on motorbikes in the uk. I still havent heard back from the police about me fighting the warning, there not taking it very seriously but i still have a marker on my reg. How can they do that with no proof and no reason if theres no noise restriction laws and not even listening to my side just wanted my reg to mark it and warned me. Im going to my solicitors monday and i'll see what he has to say, the way i see it im doing nothing wrong and its harassment and if they continue to complain i'll get em on harassment charges lol. I have been round the street and spoken to most of the neighbours and they all say its not a problem, theyve never heard me after 10pm and never seen/heard me driving like an idiot. The people next door to the person thats complained said they have had her knocking complaining of "bedroom noise" afew times.... she is just one sad individual with nothing better to do then complain. Theres alot of talk and whining about road use... dont most of you guys sneak over places to ride off road illegaly? Even if your riding off road in a area closed off for it legaly i dont see how thats any different to me riding on road legaly??? Honestly i have tried to keep the noise down, iv checked my packing and its pretty much new. i have paul turner mids and fat boy2 exhuasts are these louder then any other pipes? Id love to be able to go and buy new pipes but as it is iv had to save for awhile to be able to buy the bike in the 1st place and dont have the money to spend out just to please some busy body. As far as i know there isnt a limit to how loud it should be, i went down the police station three times yesterday to speak to the police that came knocking but they wer busy and didnt get back to me. So i had another copper come listen to it outside the station and he said he could see how people would moan with just me kicking it over and idling. That was my point i was trying to make to them that im not being an ass or using the street as a race track its just the way it sounds. Besides having a lil rant my point in posting was to find out where i stand, yea i was being a bit childish getting the ump and reving it up more but i was rageing lol. Chilled out alil now and i think the best thing for me to do is carry on as normal and not feul there fire but i wont be bending over backwards to try and keep them happy now. From what i gather its the woman that asked my to move round to the garage because the smoke now thinks im reving it up on perpos when i pass her house to the garage.... I wish i had some dunes to ride on man but where i live is pretty built up and theres no where your really allowed to ride off road besides im scared i'll break something off road and cant afford to repair it. It sounds to me like your legaly allowed to ride on the dunes but people close by are moaning and trying to stop that, pretty much in the same boat as me really??? So you should really have my back on it rather then jumping on my back for it?
