problem with any kind of stock shock is it wont be valved or sprung stiff enough to work with the link less arm.... you could send a stock shock to matt scssc on here and have him redo it for ya but it will probably cost ya as much if not more than a used shaw....

A stock rebuilt/revalved/re-sprung shock is $243.00 shipped. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Keep in mind that the shaws have zero user-adjustable compression/rebound, whereas the stock rear shock is completely adjustable. On the plus-side, shaws are lighter, and shiny.

i just went to mock up my swingarm. and a stock shock does not fit between the tubes of the swinger it must be made for a strut or maybe a marvin shaw is a little thiner idk can anyone confirm this for me. just the spring hits thanks

IMHO...

If you wanna do anything but drag race, I would swap for a link set up. I really wouldn't recommend trail riding a no link set up.

If you don't plan on doing any trail riding, get a shaw and have it set up for your swing arm and weight. Well worth the investment.

right now i am trying to figure out if i got some home made swinger. i mesured from the front bar where the swinger bolt goes through the frame to the cross bar that has the shock mount on it and it mesures 11" center to center. does anybody knou if that sounds right? the shock mount is on the bottom like a linkless but the tabs look changed and are to narrow for my stock shock. any help here
