bigboy Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 My buddy has a 465 cheetah cub running alcohol. I was thinking about building a 611 DM but his 465 has beat a couple of 611 DM. How is this possible? Is the 465 a better engine? Or just because its big doesnt mean its fast? Quote
rubberneck Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 You pretty much answered your own question. Who built it can determine if it runs good or runs great. Tuning and chassis set up are critical too. There are rediculously fast 350s out there. Just depends on builder tuner and rider Quote
bigboy Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 Well his motor was built by Tim over at Titan Racing and by what he tells me he is a really good builder. Quote
rubberneck Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Is Tim going to build your DM. Have him build it then get the bike properly set up and my guess is your buddy will not be outrunning you too often. Quote

SlowMoe Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I think it would be fairly realistic to relate the percentage difference in cc to the percentage difference in hp potential Quote
banshee332 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 (edited) This in no way to knock any builders. Anyways I have a few videos of my 10mill cub beating a 10mill dm in 500ft. Like stated above everything comes into play. Either way if you would like to see the videos I could post them or send them to you. I will also add Tim from titan is a very top notch builder all his shit runs super hard Edited November 25, 2011 by banshee332 Quote
