Hooptiee Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Sorry to hear about your situation. I've bought alot off parts from Vito's and have never had any issues, their shop is only 30 minutes from me so it's the closest place for me to go. The guys that work there are great and have helped me out big time. Anytime i need some Dyno time I just call Lane at Vito's and he always hooks me right up. But that's just my opinion, like any business there is going to be some people that like them and others that dont. I haven't purchased a crank from them yet so I cant give a opinion on that part, but my clutch, head, and topend are all from there and are holding up just fine. 61hp on the dyno thanks to them. Good Luck with your next build Quote
toytech Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 (edited) vito's products are good, and they have been very freindly and helpful to me. Edited May 8, 2011 by toytech Quote

Try to use one of the site sponsors they know what they are talking about and will hook you up with what you need. Hotrodz crank 400$ trued and welded. Look around and decide which one you want to use, since they are all reputable and their name is on the line so they will make your shee ride like a rape date! EZ~GO Quote

Larry's Shee Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Might not have been the cause, but that is why I never re-use piston pin C-clips Quote
csbullrider92 Posted May 9, 2011 Author Report Posted May 9, 2011 Might not have been the cause, but that is why I never re-use piston pin C-clips they were actually new, put a berand to everythin in the top end, we dont know if one was droped down the bottom end or id one spun out, theres a goudge in the left piston looks like one spun out and shot its way to the top, we really dont know other then whatever happened it caused alot of damage lol Quote
gotta_goatsfast Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 With some patience, you can find jugs, cases, and anything else you need in our for sale section at a great price. You'll have money left over to build a ported 4mil stroker if you need to. haha Quote
Koolguyson Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I call bullshit on the shop. A popped clip won't ruin your crank. Get your junk back and take it to somebody trustworthy. Quote
