dumbest thing yet, i am doing a timing plate mod as im too cheap to buy a modded one, pulling timing plate out using impact driver and thought stuff was going to break, it didnt thank god but as i pulled it from my quad i was walking across the shop to my tool box and dropped it on the ground, the 2 tabs that the pickup bolts to 1 broke off, i was pissed, so i just grabbed some jb weld and put it back together. it is still curing but i think it will hold up for a bit till i can afford to buy one, atleast i hope so. anybody done this b4?

other than that forgetting to put a head gasket in cuz i was half cut and starting it, it ran for 30 seconds b4 there was to much coolant in there. not good.

blew the rear axle bearings on vacation in the middle of nowhere and paid the stealership $600 to fix it so I could try to salvage some of the trip....won't ever do that again.

I was at the dunes and replaced the clutch. I put it all back together and went out and started to ride. I stopped at the top of the first hill and saw coolant coming out of the overflow. I looked at my temp gage and it said 220F. (Never seen it above 180F) I was in such a hurry to get back out and ride I did not put coolant back in. Luckily I did not ride long and there was not any damage.
