I set mine at 4.5 at my house and then depending on how the sand feels I either leave them or drop to 4. I don't suggest going below that or you might spin the bead Quote
okbeast Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Depends on what kind of sand you're riding in too. Deep/soft sand, or harder shallower sand. I run mine anywhere from 2-5 psi depending on where I'm at. Quote
wizeass2005 Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 i got one of jeffs 421 cubs drag ported on alky. I run 3-2.5psi to get that fat tire squat. But no problems with the bead ever. But i would recomend putting like 20psi in them and setting them out in the sun for a day and let those things stretch out, if they are new. Quote
DGFUNNY70 Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I always run'em 3-5lb's depending on the constancy of the sand and how much traction I want. I was curious about this filling your tire to 20lbs and putting em in the sun for the day you been doing this long. Quote
camatv Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 banshee's i like 3-8 psi depending on sand. if it bites to hard air them up. if it slips too much let them down. i have ran down to 2 psi before. much less than that and i guess i just get a lil scared! most time i'm in the 4-5 psi range. 06specialedition Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 I've always had good luck staying between 3-4lbs of air. Quote
sandstalker Posted April 13, 2011 Author Report Posted April 13, 2011 Thanks for the tips. I ran them this past weekend and found that 6psi was the best, after i droped them down to 4psi and then it started biting harder and bogging the motor down. Quote
