TimJ Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 OK here it goes, I had a throttle cable break last saturday so I said what better time that now to remove the dreaded T.O.R.S. off of my shee. SO I took it all apart all the way to the cylinders (removed reed baskets and stopped). I took reeds off of basket cleaned them, took carbs apart cleaned them, new throttle cable, put all back together. I resync carbs and it started in 3 kicks with out air filter on. Now I turned it off not to run it long with out the filter on. Put filter box and filter back on and adjusted idle screw (about 1 and a half turns in to start). It started in about 15 kicks and the right cylinder was cutting out. When I reved it up it puffs one time out of the right side pipe and then it runs fine at high rpms but cuts back out at low rpms. Does this sound like maybe the reeds sticking or something else? Please help. Tim Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Pull your carbs back apart... It sounds like a plugged pilot jet Quote
