has anyone tried this axle? looks pretty good. just worried about strength. i just bent my durablue eliminator and need a cheap replacement.

i didnt buy it though. it came on the bike when i bought it so i cant get a warranty

I would go with the G-Force from RMATV. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

G force are almost identical to the Durablue eliminator. the only difference i found is that the Lock nut is about a 72mm OD.. all the parts are compatible. its a damn good purchase for the price.

Tyler, those G-force axles are the shit. They take a licking and keep on ticking. I got 2..Love'em..

 

This bike has a G-force. Been rolled many times without being bent.

The frame got bent, the +6 swinger got hammerd, but the G-force lives on.

I'm running the Forward Power sports +2 or +1+1 rear axle, and I like it, I've only had it on the Banshee for about a month but so far so good. I also ran there +2 aluminum rear spacers for about a year when I was running my stock axle and wheel set up and I had great luck out of them as well. The quality is great, the only thing I'm not real crazy about is the gold finish (I believe it's Zinc coated like most grade- 8 hardware). If you do decide to purchase the FORWARDPOWERSPORT'S Axle go through the www.forwardpowersports.com web site. Although it can be bought through eBay for the same amount of money, the web site offers free shipping. I do see that the Dura Blue axle also has a 6 month warranty vs NO warranty (that I can find) on the Forward Power Sports Axle. Dura Blue also offers a Eliminator Axle, and a X-33 Axle that are supposedly a lot stronger but the price jumps up as well.

 

I talked to Dura-Blue and some of the other Performance Axle Manufacturers when I decided to upgrade my axle and I couldn't justify the cost here is the info off both websites:

Roll with a Gforce! I bent a Durablue and switched over to Gforce and never looked back. The only thing about the Gforce that I wasn't completely happy with, is the chrome finish. Given, it is a trail bike, the chrome didn't seem to last to long. It still looked good, but not great. Either way, I would go with another Gforce again, and again.
