you need a tapered ball joint reamer, their not real cheep but the only way to do it right, or take them to a machine shop in your area they may have a set and would probably cost less to pay them to do it than you could buy the reamer for.

what angle is the taper? is it 7 or 10 degrees?

i actually found one in my dads toolbox in his shop. glad i dont have to spend $70 on one. i always go check there before i buy a tool because he has been working on trucks and cars for 30+ years so he usually has nearly every tool that i need.

If its running right the front tires shouldn't touch the ground anyway.

good luck with your build

didn't you measure your caster/camber before tearing it apart?

you need to set your geometry angles before welding it up........ you have to stage it on the bike with the spindles atatched to the gjoints, then tack in place and weld it up off the bike......... i can help you out where to set it if you need. just need to know conditions and style of riding

What's wrong with this picture...? Guy is modding his front suspension himself, and is asking if extending them like that will throw off is geometry. I really hope you don't let anyone besides yourself get on that bike. That's just scary.
