Thanks! ' I beleive you can use stock bottom end.. Its a bolt and go set up.. But i havnt heard good things about that kit.... People on this board wont recommend it.. atleast from what ive seen.. You might be better off with some port work.. and some forged internals.. maybe even a bore job...reeds bigger carbs..etc It all depends what you wana accomplish... the 421 cub is no joke.. and its a good amount of money if you ask me!!! See what other hafta say... you will get steared tin the right direction... Way i see it more hp= more problems!!!! Quote

I looked at it a while back and I couldn't bring myself to buy it. The only place you can buy it is ebay and I think I found one other place. They have no stroker option. It is only for a stock crank, thats it. I think you may kick yourself in the but if you buy it. I dont know where you would get technical help on that set up either. It may bolt on and be the best kit ever but its kind of a shot in the dark. If you put your motor back stock with a dune ported cylinder i think you would be happier performance wise. Quote
Phelps Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 the guy selling them is top notch however the cylinders themselves are JUNK. low port timing and in the end your barely going to make anymore power than you have now...... for what you will pay for that kit a sponsor here can port the cylinders you have now (staying stock stroke and bore) and they will rape athena big bores all day long...... if you are wanting different cylinders all together then contact andy at M&MATV and talk to him about a set of stock stroke "serval cats" you can have your stock crank welded and have one hell of a engine. Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Save your money for a good set. Those just don't seem to be reliable. Quote
