Fuel leaking out the float bowl

One of the float bowls drips gas out of the float bowl drain. I took the bowl off and the screw and cleaned them off, but it still leaks until the bowl is empty.

Sounds like you need to replace your needle valve which plugs the hole when the floats rise.

I posted a thread on this issue a while ago with all the research needed to price the parts. Someone also posted a cheaper solution. Think its under how to fix a leaking carb...

sounds like the float height is to high... do u have a clymers manual? it explains how to check this.
