Measure the cylinder and if its still within spec hone it and run it buddy. If you do have to rebore only go .10 at a time save your bores for when you need them.

What is the general consensus about boring this far? Anyone have any experience with cylinders bored this far? Mine are at .060 now and just wondering so if I need to go larger with this rebuild.

Ive never seen a 70 over(but not saying they dont exist), but even going 80(66mm) is fine. 100 seems to get touchy. General consensus is overheating, and a friend of mine had a tough time getting a good head gasket seal. But ran great.

You mean .01 right?

your already at 60 over. you dont really notice a power difference in a few mill. you have to remember that you can only go so big if you go 80 over then blow up two more times you cant bore the cylinders any more and your screwed. especialy if your ported. you would then have to bu a new set of cylinders and report the cases

You should not have to go past .080 to clean up your cylinders unless they are really messed up.You should never go bigger than you have too.My buddy had 100 over and it ran good but had to get custom domes made too set the motor up right. It did not seem to overheat but the bike was only ridden at the coast.

if you get up to 80 or 90 i would suggest having your cylinders coated with the same stuff honda has since they dont run sleeves. its i think is a type of nickle plating that is stronger than the sleeves. that way if you blow up or seize then you dont need to bore it out anu more you can just have it diamond honed and replated.
