Last summer I built a shee. I bought a rolling chass. It came with a +8. my motor is pushin almost 60hp.I am being told I am loseing atleast 5 bike lenghts useing that +8.

Is this true? Would a plus 6 work better?

Does it carry the front wheels any when you launch?

for 60hp, that seems pretty long. i used to have 65 hp to the wheels and i was running a +4 with no problems. now, my tires weren't the best so that might have been helping me, but a +8 is prolly a little too long.

pm sent.

I'd say a +4 would be best for you. Hell, I'm running a +4 with a stock cylinder stroker motor, and it's fine, even in the sand with, 10 paddle haulers.

+1 on the recommendation for a +4 swinger, thats what i ran on my 60hp 350 and it seemed just perfect!

id prob stay away from an 8" unless ur spinning more then 85hp and are only going to drag, and plan to change the shock and or spring.
