  1. For some reason my axel nut won't stay tight... Any suggestions? Also my rear castle nuts that hold on the hub are always coming lose. The cotter pin keeps them on.
  2. How do u run your water hose with pt mid rev with out touching the pipe . What's your set up?
  3. Ok.....so I took my shee to be dynoed and tuned. I watched the guy do it and he did not use a carb sync tool. He said with the dyno he did not need one, as a matter of fact he kind of laughed at the notion of using one. He says theres more to the sync then just the vacuum . He seemed to know what he was talking about, so I let him do his thing. When I took it home she was screaming. Running perfect. When I put the carb sync tool on the carbs the vacuum was way different on the two. So I adjusted one of the slides to match the vacuum on the other, and it sounded like shit so I put it back to where it was, and it sounded great.... So I guess I Am just a little confused on What's happeing here....
  4. I need to sell my shee:0( but not sure what I should ask for her. 5. Ok... I just went and had my banshee dyno'ed and tuned, it runs awsome. Today I used my carb sync tool to check what the vacuum was like. On one carb it was pulling 7 and on the other it was pulling 2, but they felt and sounded synced. I then tried to adjust the slide that was pulling 2 to and make it pull 7, but sounded like shit. So I put it back the way it was.... I am just confused a little.
  6. Is this off road swap meet always there? Or is it a limited time? If u go let us know what they have.
  7. It looks like the tors are already removed. And with the mods that it are alread has , I would bet there is already an after market timing plate on it.
  8. So I need to replace the nut on my swing arm bolt, and I do not want to have take it out to take to the store with me. So my question is what size is the bolt? And maybe the thread size?
  9. From what I hear he has closed! I don't know for good or not.
  10. Dose anyone know where I can get a polished crank case? If so how much do u think it might cost?
  11. The first thing I would do if I bought a banshee is a compression test to see where the life of your cylinders are at. The next thing I would do is a leak down test cause an air leak can cause havoc on your performance even your idle . You should also take apart your carbs and give them a good cleaning . Your pilot jet is responsible for your idle , I would bet there might be something stuck in there.
  12. Did u just buy this banshee? Have u tried to adjust the idle screw? Maybe u might have to move one size up on the pilot jet. As far as the smoke coming out of one pipe and not the other, did u try swaping the plugs wires and see if the other side smokes?
  13. Thanks jeff.... Are u and your crew going to be doing any riding anytime soon? Or are u going to wait for dumont. I was wondering if u still needed anything polished. If so I might need another quality seat cover made for my wife's KFX700. Let me know ...
  14. A Vegas rider here. It's to hot to ride apex now, has anyone ever road the wheelers pass . It's a trail that goes from cold creek nv to pahrump it has a small elevation making it a little cooler. It takes about an hour or so each way depending on how fast you like to ride. It's fun!!!! anyone want to ride?
  15. Just cause I want to dose not mean I am going to
  16. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to ride in a closed dune complex? Like the Kelso dunes or death valley dunes two of the. Largest complexs out there. And they don't seemed to be closed for a good reason other then because.
  17. Gaskets and seals are only made to be put in once. I did my first banshee rebuild with out much banshee knowledge . But with the help of a manual and my friends on hq . I feel like a semi pro now. Besides there's only one way to know your banshee in and out. Those high revs Paul tuners are made more for a ported banshee. I think u would be better with a good mid rev pipe. If u like the look of the paul tuner like I do I have a nice set of mid revs if u want a trade up. Let me know . Where are u from ?
  18. You need Gear box fluid not "oil" . it takes one and a half bottles. The oil is in the gas
