locogato11283 Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 I will be offering these two designs plus a third with an orange background. They are about 10" tall and 14" long. They are made from very durable vinyl. They have a slip that will allow you to slip them over your flag whip. You will have to find a way to secure them. I figure glue would work well. The eyelets are for the guys who want to hang them in a shop and to also help the double sided tape from coming undone where the flags will slide over the pole. Flags will be $22 shipped each. If anyone would like to pre-order, that would be great. That way I can have a more accurate count on how many I need. Otherwise, I just have to order some and hope they sell. Scotty Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Price? I like them. Would Definately buy one. Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 need 1 in orange...and im in.. Yeah, in CA you have to have either red or orange on the flag. I'm sure it's the same in many other states. Would it be possible to have a flag in a square shape? rather than the triangle? Maybe some with a "sleeve" hemmed on the "stick" side, so you can just slide it over the whip and glue it, rather than using the eyelets. Might look kinda odd zip tied to the stick using those eyelets. Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 need 1 in orange...and im in.. Bet. Yeah, in CA you have to have either red or orange on the flag. I know that at Little Sahara, OK you have to have a PLAIN orange flag on top. It would be near impossible to make a single flag for everyone's different rules. These flags do have a sleeve, it's just hard to see in the picture. It will slide over the flag whip. We put the eyelets on there as well in case you wanted to buy a flag and hang it, instead of using it on your dune bike. I thought I would make them so that they can be used for multiple purposes. Ok, looks like I will be designing one with orange on it. Probably will be just like the one with the green background, but orange instead. I like the silver one the best ! whats the price and when will they be for sale? I will be talking with my graphics guy again tomorrow at which time I will have a price quote and an estimate on when they will be ready. Quote

Yea, I just thought they might be nice for the guys who wanna hang them in a shop or somewhere else. Plus they keep the flag secured together. Aside from actual stitching, there isn't a real good way to keep them together. The flags are one piece and folded over and held together using a real sticky ass double sided tape. I thought that in the case of them whipping back and forth for hours on end on a pole that the tape could become loose. So the eyelets are kind of there also for extra insurance so that they don't come apart. I'd hate to make a ton of them and come to find out the tape alone is not strong enough. Quote
06specialedition Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Hell ya, count me in. Prices? A black and yellow one would be cool. Quote

sandman81 Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Damn its about time. Hahaha. I was about to pm you and see what was up with the flags. I am still down for a 3ft x 5ft one we talked about. No sense in having a flag on your bike if you cant see it. Let see BLM bitch about it not having orange. Quote
